This three-tin set of green teas was inspired by some of our favorite green teas - Organic Grand Jasmin, Immortal Green and Organic CoCo De Menthe. Organic Grand Jasmin. Grand Jasmin is an elegant jasmine-scented organic green tea comprised of waif-like leaves in colors ranging from green-black to dark French grey to shimmering silver. Dry, it has an incredibly smooth jasmine-honeydew aroma with undertones of cocoa and orange zest. When brewed, it becomes a coppery, aromatic infusion with an abundant jasmine bouquet and bold jasmine flavor. Notes of orange pith and unsweetened cocoa give way to an unapologetically full-on aftertaste of jasmine, with some astringency and green plant notes. Grand Jasmin is a liquid bouquet for those who love all that jasmine has to offer. This tea is certified USDA organic Immortal Green. In Taoism, peaches are considered to be an elixir of life, and there are stories of a peach tree that granted immortality to all who consumed its fruit. In modern science, Japanese green tea has been associated with longevity and wellbeing. With Immortal Green, we have combined these two elixirs in one enchanting brew.In this blend, sencha the color of nori is flecked with brilliantly colored marigold blossoms. Juicy, thick scents of candied peaches and ripe passion fruit give this ethereal, misty yellow brew an almost palpable aroma. The infusion?s delicately grassy and richly fruity flavor gives way to a clean aftertaste with light astringency and lingering passion fruit notes.A fantastic flavored green tea, Immortal Green is one of our best sellers.Organic CoCo De MentheSweet and refreshing, Coco de Menthe is fantastic hot or iced. Leafy green peppermint and chocolate-brown roasted green tealeaves yield a delightfully robust, palate-cleansing, cooling minty flavor that?s grounded by earthy green tea notes and a teasing hint of velvety dark chocolate. Like the flavor, the aftertaste is smooth, minty and lightly roasty. Enjoy Coco de Menthe as an afternoon pick-me-up or an after-dinner drink. If desired, pair with creamy, chocolaty, fruity or vanilla desserts. This tea is certified USDA organic.

Organic Tuo Cha Green Pu Er - Vintage 2005
Tuo Cha Green Pu Er Vintage 2005 is an esoteric tea and an ideal gateway into the world of pu er teas. Tuo cha literally translates to bird's nest. The compressed leaves are named for their shape disc-like, rounded shape. Unlike other pu ers, this tuo cha is green in color. Because of this, it has a lighter flavor than the rest.To brew, remove the densely packed leaves from the delicate beige paper that envelops it. Note the abundance of silvery buds. Brew in near-boiling water for up to seven minutes, starting with less time if you prefer a lighter taste. Note the delicate aroma of forest soil in the yellow-gold infusion. Sip, and savor the honey-like sweetness, subtle earthiness and notes of caramel and flowers. When you have finished your first infusion, reinfuse the leaves for slightly longer than before. As the leaves unfurl from their compressed state, they release deeper, earthier aromas. This Tuo Cha Green Pu Er is renowned for the increased prevalence of loam, fallen trees and old-growth forest in the second infusion and the Qimen-like notes of cocoa, flowers and tobacco in the third infusion. Reinfuse throughout the day, adding a bit more time with each infusion and savoring the subtly shifting flavors with each new brew. This tea is certified USDA organic.
